Dear Mrs Pacman,
I would very much like for David to come on holiday with me and the rest of our gang this month.
I don't know why I can't tell you this in person, or why I'm writing you a letter too-since I have never written one, and everything these days seems to be done by E-mail. Even detentions after school. I'm telling you, I got one last month because I was late for school, and they E-mailed me! I couldn't believe it!
What was I talking about? Oh, yeah. I would very much like to have Daniel with us for a end of term holiday next month. We are going on a week long camping trip, and canoeing in the canal as well.
My uncle, who is a very distant relative and ex-con will be taking us in his brand new (and fairly dirty and used) van. He only got out yesterday as well, and doesn't even have a driving license! Must have been a good offer, eh?
So we will be having lots and lots of fun and it would be a shame if Daniel couldn't come.
